Description: Vena has been in the UX field for the better part of the last decade, and has been involved in the non-profit world extensively for the last 20 years, so she ishappy to be a part of blending those two worlds together! When asked to describe her design job, she says, “Architects blueprint homes and buildings. I blueprint websites and software. Just as an architect’s job is to figure out how the pieces of a building are going to fit together, how you’ll get from one room to another, how you’ll do whatever it is you need to do inside that building, I design how the different parts of a site will fit together, how you’ll get from one screen or section to the next, and how you’ll do whatever needs to be accomplished on that site. I design the experience of moving through a site, just as an architect designs the experience of your home.”
