Stephen Lund
Day job: Consultant (Digital Primates) and graduate student (DePaul)
Description: After graduating from the University of Chicago with a degree in Public Policy Studies, Steve Lund went on to work for several theaters and non-profit organizations before falling backwards into a career in technology. He now develops rich Internet applications with Digital Primates and is finishing up a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction at DePaul. In his free time he used to be a clown, now he’s a rock star.
Here’s how he describes his job to his friends: “I build web applications. No, not websites, software that runs paperless hospitals, connects phone systems to contact management software, and streams baseball games to hundreds of thousands of people around the world.”
Superpower: I always select a perfectly-sized container for leftovers.
