He joined the League of Chicago Theaters as deputy director this summer to leverage the creative ideas of theater artists to help solve big problems. Ryan has experience as a fund-raiser, brand manager, marketing analyst, short-order cook and farmer. Prior to his work at the League, Ryan was managing director for The House Theatre of Chicago. In 2007, Ryan completed the MFA/Arts Leadership Program, a two-year graduate-level fellowship in arts management training created through a partnership between Chicago Shakespeare Theater and DePaul University.
