Description: Eldridge actually started his career as an archaeologist. After working in the field of cultural resource management for 7 years, he returned to graduate school to learn to apply his anthropology skills to the field of HCI. After graduating, Eldridge spent 3 years working as an interaction designer and developer for an e-learning company before joining Sears as a User Experience Architect. How does he describe his job? “I usually make something up, but when pushed I tell them that I like to think I use an understanding of how people engage with tools in context to help make those tools better.”
